Terms and conditions

Article 1 – Length of Stay

The contract is for a fixed term; the client cannot claim the right to extend their stay.

Article 2 – Reservation Confirmation

Reservations are only guaranteed upon receipt of a deposit, which will be deducted from the total bill upon your arrival. Deposits are cashed upon receipt. Deposits must be paid no later than 5 days from the date of the reservation request.
The required deposit is 30% of the total price of the stay, payable by bank check (made out to Mrs. Stéphanie DANZEL d’AUMONT) and sent to 2, rue d’Hornoy – 80640 Aumont. Payment by bank transfer is also possible.
Your reservation will be considered confirmed only upon receipt of the deposit. Payment of the deposit implies acceptance of these general terms and conditions for the guest rooms.
A reservation confirmation will be sent by email or post (detailing the selected services) to be returned signed and accompanied by the deposit.

Article 3 – Cancellation by Client

Cancellations must be notified by registered letter addressed to the owner.

• Cancellation before the start of the stay:
  • If the cancellation occurs more than 24 hours before the start of the stay, the deposit remains with the owner.
  • If the cancellation occurs less than 24 hours before the start of the stay, the deposit remains with the owner, who reserves the right to claim the full balance of the accommodation cost.
• If the guest does not arrive before 7:00 PM on the scheduled arrival day, this contract becomes null and void, and the owner may make the guest rooms available to others. The deposit remains with the owner, who reserves the right to claim the full balance of the accommodation cost.
• In case of an early departure, the amount corresponding to the total cost of the accommodation remains fully due to the owner.
  Any additional services not consumed will be refunded.

Article 4 – Cancellation by Owner

If the owner cancels the stay before its commencement, they must notify the client by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt.
The client, without prejudice to any claims for compensation for potential damages suffered, will be immediately and fully refunded for all amounts already paid.
Additionally, the client will receive compensation at least equal to the penalty they would have incurred if the cancellation had been made by them on the same date.
Article 5 – Check-In/Check-Out

Guests must arrive on the scheduled day of their reservation, during the hours indicated below:
Rooms are available from 5:30 PM.
Please notify the owner in advance if arriving after 7:00 PM.
If possible, avoid arriving after 9:30 PM.
Article 6 – Departure Time

Check-out must be completed before 11:00 AM.

Article 7 – Payment of Balance

The balance of the stay must be paid upon arrival.

Article 8 – Tourist Tax

The tourist tax is collected by the owner and transferred to the Public Treasury.

Article 9 – Room Changes

The owner reserves the right to change the originally reserved room to another of equal or higher capacity without any compensation to the guest. In such cases, the reservation cost remains unchanged.

Article 10 – Pets

Unless expressly agreed upon at the time of booking, pets are not allowed at Aumont.
If the guest violates this clause, the owner reserves the right to refuse accommodation without this being considered a modification or breach of contract by the owner. In the event of the guest’s departure, no refund will be provided.

Article 11 – Code of Conduct and Use of the Premises

A certain standard of conduct is required from all guests to maintain the tranquility of the property and the comfort of other guests.
Smoking is not permitted in the rooms.
Guests are expected to adhere to the established etiquette rules posted in the rooms and detailed in these terms and conditions.
Rooms must be left in perfect condition upon departure. Guests are financially responsible for any damage caused during their stay.
Children within the estate are under the sole responsibility of their parents.
The kitchen is not available for guests’ use.

Article 12 – Modification of Terms

These terms and conditions may be modified at any time without prior notice. Acceptance and adherence to these conditions are considered binding as soon as a deposit is paid.

Article 13 – Privacy and Data Protection

In accordance with the law of January 6, 1978, you have the right to access and rectify any data concerning you
. Les Chambres d’Aumont undertakes not to pass on the information you have provided to other companies or organizations.

Article 14 – Special Offers

• Promotional offers are not combinable with other offers.
• Conditions, prices, and offers are non-contractual and subject to change without notice.
